There is a limited number of records for Morgan, as he
was absent and away at sea.
Morgan marries Ann Elizabeth Stevens on 22nd June 1882 at St. Cattwg. His occupation is recorded as Master Mariner.
Following his marriage, Morgan was awarded a Certificate of Competency as a Master in 1894 at Cardiff.
Death Certificate
However Morgan was the captain of the sailing ship Daisy, which arrived at the Port of Norfolk, Virginia, USA. Morgan fell ill two days later with dysentery, he died at St. Vincent’s Hospital, on 18th July 1904.St. Vincent’s Hospital
