One such name is A. Davies, recorded as having served with the Swansea Battalion 14^th Battalion, Welsh Regiment. Despite limited surviving information, his inclusion on the memorial stands as enduring testimony to his service and sacrifice alongside the men of Swansea and the Gower who answered their country’s call during the Great War.
