Joseph Williams
Information about some of the Second World War military burials at St. Peter’s is unfortunately quite limited.
One such case is that of Joseph Williams, who served as a Driver with the Royal Army Service Corps and died on 2 January 1940. The only recorded details note that he was the son of Reginald and Jessie Williams of Townhill. However, there is a record of a Joseph Twoomey Williams, born in 1922 in St. Luke Parish, and it is possible that this may be the same individual. If so, Joseph would have been only 18 years old at the time of his death.
