The Royal Air Force was formed April 1918, a one of the
first officers, Noel Parry Davies. Davies now Flight
Sub-Lieutenant, is one of the first officers of the newly formed RAF. He lost
his life on 8th April, aged 18 at Turnhouse, near Edinburgh, a week after the formation.

April 12th, Noel Parry Davies, is buried with
full military honours at Bethel Welsh Congregational Chapelyard, Tycoch. At the time of his death, soldiers and officers,
were encouraged to write Wills. The
value of Davies’s estate was £616.0s 2d.
