Lieutenant William Jack Morgan
Also buried at Bethel Welsh Congregational Chapelyard, Tycoch, is Lieutenant W. J. (Jack) Morgan.
William Jack Morgan served with the Duke of Cornwall’s Light
Infantry.
At the time of his death, 23rd October 1924,
William had died from results of wounds received in action. Were these wounds from the First World War?
William was the elder son of William and Rachel Morgan.
At the time of the 1911 Census, he was living at Beachwood
Street, Uplands. Residing at the same house were his parents and his siblings. William's occupation is listed as Cashier at the Brewery.

His younger brother, James Oliver Morgan, was killed in action on the 10th September 1916, and his name is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial. James along with his older brother, Ivor and Jack attended their fathers funeral.

William, senior was buried at Danygraig Cemetery. The Cambrian Daily Leader, reported the funeral.
The surviving brother, Ivor, he became an Chartered Accountant.
