Legacy
Though his life and service were brief, Fusilier Daniel
Jones stands among the many young men of Swansea whose lives were claimed
in the early months of the Second World War. His burial at Danygraig Cemetery
serves as a reminder of the sacrifices made not only by seasoned servicemen but
also by those just beginning their adult lives. His memory lives on as part of
Swansea’s wartime heritage.
