Birth and Family Background
Alfred Edward Davies was born in 1887. He was
the son of Thomas Abel Davies and Eleanor Davies. He later
married Ada Louise Davies, of Mumbles.
Naval and Maritime Service
Alfred Edward Davies served as a Writer 1st Class
with the Naval Auxiliary Personnel (Merchant Navy). During his service
he was attached to HMS Mersey.
