Gunner Anthony Llewellyn Williams – Royal Artillery
Anthony Llewellyn Williams, born in 1938 in Swansea, was the son of Llewellyn Williams and Janet M. Williams. Although few official civilian records survive for him, his military service and the circumstances of his death were documented in the Herald of Wales, which reported on both the tragedy and the funeral that followed.

Anthony served as a Gunner with the Royal Artillery. On 4 April 1946, his life was suddenly cut short in an accident at Temple Meads railway station, Bristol, where he was returning to his unit after spending a short leave at home. His death was described as a deeply felt loss within both his family and the wider Swansea community.
