Edwin John Thomas

Edwin John Thomas was born in 1922 in Swansea, the son of John Hoskins Thomas and Gertrude Rachel Thomas. His early life remains largely undocumented, as is often the case with young men whose adult years were overtaken by wartime service.

In 1943, Edwin married Mary Elaine Jones in Swansea, establishing a home just as the war reached its most demanding phase.
