Kjell W. Larsen

 Within Danygraig Cemetery, there is a section where Norwegians are buried.

The first military burial of 1941 is of Norwegian Sailor Kjell W. Larsen, who died on 1^st February aged 18 years.

Information regarding Kjell Larsen is very limited.  There is, however, a newspaper article published in South Wales Daily Post, January 1941.

Two Norwegian seamen, appeared in court, on a charge of stealing a Wireless Set in Swansea.  Andreas Savdaal, a ships fireman, who was fined £10 including 10s for interpreter’s fees. 

The case of against Konrad Larsen were dismissed, when he appeared in a British naval uniform.
