Richard who was injured in the bombing, and died at Swansea Hospital, the same day.  Richard was born 1916, the son of Alfred Nichols and Sarah Leaver

At the time of the 1921 Census, the Nichols family were living at Statleden Hill Side, Fishguard.

Alfred, 35, was a Furniture Dealer, and Sarah, 35.  Alfred was 4 years old.

By the time of the 1939 Register, the family were living at Strathoden Verggen Terrace, Fishguard.
