Arthur Dean, who served with the Military Police Corps, died on the 15^th of August 1917 and is buried at Danygraig Cemetery.

The only record that has survived is Arthur’s Short Service Record.

The record shows that Arthur enlisted in 1914 and that he was discharged during April 1915 for not being physically fit.

The record also shows that his next of kin was his wife, Emily Dean, who resided at 38 Greenway Road, Neath.
